Music of the Whispering Woods
This collection of piano pieces existed before the novel.
At the time, I didn’t fully understand what they were meant to be. They were sketches, ideas, fragments of something that hadn’t quite found its place.
Years later, as I began writing Piano Zen, I found myself returning to this music. Something about it felt connected to the world I was trying to create. The atmosphere, the movement, the sense of space.
In a way, the music understood the world before I did.
As the story began to take shape, the pieces seemed to find their place within it. Even the titles emerged differently, drawn from the novel's locations, characters, and moments.
What began as a separate project gradually became part of the story itself. Not as a soundtrack in the traditional sense, but as something woven into the book's emotional landscape.
If you choose to listen while reading, or even afterward, I hope it brings you a little deeper into that world.
